Biography
Thomas Perrier has more than 15 years of experience in environmental engineering and research with five years in the nuclear domain and a particular focus on the remediation of contaminated sites and health risk assessments. His experience covers all stages of contaminated site management from environmental assessment, site investigation and technical and economic feasibility studies to remedial cost assessment and management plans, contractor selection, field work supervision, contractor control and management and negotiation with authorities or third parties. He has also provided litigation support, managed environmental financial reserves and conducted and managed due diligence and corporate health, safety and environment (EHS) programme audits. Thomas has managed projects at former and active manufacturing sites in the industrial sector (eg chemical, petrochemical, agrichemical, pharmaceutical and food, foundries and metal treatment facilities). He holds a PhD in Earth and Soil Sciences from Nancy University, an MSc in Hydrogeology from the Polytechnic National Institute of Lorraine and an MSc in Environmental Geosciences from the Higher Institute of Geology (ENSG) in France.
