Biography
Robert Castaigne is a French national. He is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Lille and the National School of Petroleum and Engines. He is a doctor in economics. He has been an independent director of Sanofi since 2000, and Chairman of the Audit Committee since March 2015. Between 1972 and 2008, Robert Castaigne held various positions within the Total Group, including Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee from 1994 to 2008. Robert Castaigne is currently a director of Societe Generale and Vinci.
