Biography
Martin joined Exlog as a mudlogger after graduation in 1977 and progressed through data engineering into wellsite geology in 1983. He worked predominately in the UKCS and onshore UK as a Wellsite Geologist before moving into operations geology with Britoil in Glasgow during the transition to BP from 1988 to 1991. Martin then joined the Baker Hughes Exlog management team based in the Windsor office before transferring to Paris with Baker Hughes INTEQ in 1993 and held a number of management positions based in Tunis, Baku and then Muscat with Baker Hughes Centrilift. Martin ‘retired’ to live in France in 2003 before joining Stag Geological Services as a Business Development Consultant in 2004 helping to place up to 200 Wellsite and Operations Geologists with clients worldwide.
