Alex Richardson

Biography

Alex Richardson is a Senior Consultant in NERA's Melbourne office. He specialises in providing economic, regulatory and public policy advice to public sector clients and regulators. Mr. Richardson's regulatory and public policy experience includes reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory programs and policy, advising clients on the development of best-practice regulatory approaches and quantifying the impacts of regulatory changes to consumers, industries and governments. His skills and expertise include: policy analysis, regulatory modelling, economic modelling, business case and funding submissions, financial modelling and analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and GIS modelling and mapping. Mr. Richardson's work has covered a wide range of sectors, including water, electricity, gas, mining, health care, human services, education and innovation.
