Biography
Kristofer comes to Saint Francis from the University of Pittsburgh where he worked as a graduate student assistant and staff member at the Center for Exercise and Health-Fitness Research while pursuing his Ph.D. During this time, he also worked as an Exercise Physiologist for Carlow University’s Wellness and Fitness Services and the University of Pittsburgh’s University Club Fitness Center.Professionally, Kristofer is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of ACSM. He is an ACSM certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and holds the Exercise is Medicine level III credential. He is a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Exercise Science and Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism.
Research Interest
His research focuses on perceptions and preferences of regulating exercise intensity.
