Arvind Bhandari

Biography

Arvind Bhandari, M.D., specializes in medical oncology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Recognized by the American Cancer Society as a “Leader” in the fight against cancer, Dr. Bhandari has a special interest in lung and breast cancers. He founded the annual Charity Golf Tournament in Sugar Land to benefit the American Cancer Society, and is involved in several other cancer awareness activities in Fort Bend County. Dr. Bhandari is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Bellaire Medical Center, where he has also served as Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and Chief of Staff. He receive his Medical degree in 1973 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India; internship in internal medicine at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark 1974–1976; fellowship in medical oncology at M.D. Anderson Hospital and Cancer Center in Houston, Texas 1976–1978.
