Biography
Dr. Cowey is Board Certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He has a special interest in genitourinary oncology (renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer) and melanoma as well as clinical research interest in genitourinary cancers and melanoma.Dr. Cowey received his Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship - University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC; Internal Medicine Internship and Residency - University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospitals; and Medical Doctorate - University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
