Biography
Jerry Barker, Jr, M.D., specializes in adult radiation oncology. He is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Barker practices general adult radiation oncology but has particular interest in head & neck cancer, prostate cancer, brachytherapy, conformal/intensity-modulated radiation therapy, and palliative care.Dr. Barker graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1993, and earned his M.D. at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 1997. His internship in internal medicine was completed at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in 1998, and in 2002 he completed his residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. In 2003 Dr. Barker completed a fellowship in head & neck cancer radiation oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
