Jill L. Folkert

Biography

Jill Folkert is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner and has extensive work experience in caring for adult and pediatric patients with autoimmune diseases, hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplants.Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Ms. Folkert worked at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio as a clinical nurse expert IV and charge nurse of the Apheresis Department. She also worked previously as a staff RN in a surgical/trauma unit in downtown Dallas for several years. She completed her Master's Degree - Nursing at University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX and Bachelor's Degree - Nursing at Texas Woman's University, Denton, TX
