Dr. Monica Desai is an oncologist at Texas Oncology board certified in medical oncology and hematology. She received her Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology in Washington University and Siteman Cancer Center, St. Louis, MO and Residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She did her Medical Doctorate at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX and Undergraduate Degree at Rice University, Houston, TX. Dr. Desai is a born and raised Texan who takes pride in caring for those within her community. She partners closely with each patient to customize care that is appropriately tailored to individual needs. She is committed to providing the most up-to-date care through evidence-based medicine and has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national cancer conferences.
