Punit Chadha

Biography

 Punit Chadha, M.D., specializes in medical oncology and hematology. He is currently certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology and Medical Oncology.Dr. Chadha received his undergraduate degree in June,1995 as well as his medical degree in June,1999 from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. After finishing residency, he served one year as Chief Resident. Dr. Chadha completed his fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Hematology and Medical Oncology in June, 2006Dr. Chadha grew up in Houston, Texas. He is married to Anurekha Chadha M.D., a Rheumatologist in Austin and they have two children. Dr. Chadha enjoys spending time with his family as well as golf, tennis and sporting events.Dr. Chadha was Chief Resident at Northwestern University from 2002-2003. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in October, 2001. He was presented the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award in 2000 from Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He received honors in his Sub-Internship in Medicine from Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Chadha is a member of Travis County Medical Society.
