Biography
Patrick de La Chevardière, born in March 1957, is a graduate of École Centrale de Paris and École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC). He joined Total in 1982 and served as a drilling engineer with the Exploration & Production division until 1989. He then joined the Finance Division as a Project Manager, before he was appointed Vice President, Operations and Subsidiaries in 1995. He was appointed Vice President, Asia for Refining & Marketing in 2000, Deputy Chief Financial Officer in September 2003 and a member of the Management Committee* in January 2005. Patrick de La Chevardière has been Total’s Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Committee since June 2008.
