Biography
Dr. Drake received his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977, and completed residency and fellowship/research training in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCSF in 1984. He has been at UCLA since then in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and is currently Professor and Vice-chair. Outside of his research activities, he is Co-chair of the "Foundations of Medicine I" course for 1st year students in the School of Medicine, and oversees outpatient laboratory services and information services for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
