Biography
Her initial training in Experimental Psychology supplemented by training in Health Psychology as well as her integration in the Laboratory of Integrative Neurobiology of INSERM (U.394, Director R. Dantzer) during her PhD in Psychology (1997-1999) allowed her to carry out a research work located at the interface of the psychological sciences, biomedical sciences, psychoneuroimmunology and neurosciences. During her Ph.D., during a collaboration between the laboratory of Integrative Neurobiology and the immunotherapy department of the Institut Bergonié (Center anticancerreux de Bordeaux and the South-West), she was able to conduct a research work on the neuropsychiatric effects of cytokines used in anticancer therapy. The results obtained from this work opened up many research perspectives and gave rise to several working hypotheses, the testing of which was an important object of her post-doctoral internship (2000-2002) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Emory University, Atlanta, USA. This post-doctoral internship also allowed me to strengthen her training in biological psychiatry and led in 2002 to my recruitment in the same department as Assistant Professor - tenure track - Psychiatry.
