Lewis Laurent J.
Professor
physics
Universite de Montreal
France
Biography
Mr.Lewis basically has research program that examines the general theme of computational physics of materials.Powerful computers to probe the structural and other behaviour and properties of materials, and the "structure-function" relationship. Mostly preferred approach is molecular dynamics, which involves integrating the equations of motion of a system of atoms under the effect of forces from "potentials"they may be generic (Lennard-Jones, for instance), empirical or semi-empirical, or even . The size of the systems depends on the potential used and varies from tens or hundreds of atoms to several million is the knowledge he shares about the work he is carrying under university of Montreal, Paris with many paper publications based on his work and on- going many dissertation and projects under his guidance.
Research Interest
Mr.Lewis basically works on physics with of computational physics which includes variety of models based on molecular junctions, nanostructure, metallics, laser interactions, modelling, simulations molecular dynamics, computational physics etc.
