Biography
Jacques Mohcine Bahi received a Master of Science in applied mathematics from the University of Franche-Comte (France). He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 1991. Until september 1999, he was a associate professor of applied mathematics at the Mathematical Laboratory of Besançon. Since then, he became a full professor of computer science at the University of Franche-Comte. His research interests include parallel computing, numerical asynchronous algorithms, dynamical systems with application to Ad-Hoc and sensor networks. He published about 70 articles (October, 2006) and supervised 9 PhD students. He was the "research" Vice-President of SPECIF(The French society in research and education in informatics) from (2003-2006). He is now the Vice-President of the Scientific Council of the University of Franche-Comte.
