Biography
Dr. Abdul Hamid SOUBRA is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of Chemistry, University of Nantes , France. His research interests includes Raliability analysis of geotechnical structures, Random finite element methods, (iii) Stability problems in geotechnical engineering (slope stability, tunnels, bearing capacity of foundations, active and passive earth pressures) by the limit analysis theory and Numerical modelling of soil-structure interaction problems. Applications emphasize on foundations, tunnels, slopes, retaining structures and deep excavations. My current research deals with the probabilistic analysis and design of tunnels and maritime geotechnical structures (e.g. spudcans, foundations of gravity plateforms, suction anchors, etc.).. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Abdul Hamid SOUBRA is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Raliability analysis of geotechnical structures, Random finite element methods, (iii) Stability problems in geotechnical engineering (slope stability, tunnels, bearing capacity of foundations, active and passive earth pressures) by the limit analysis theory and Numerical modelling of soil-structure interaction problems.
