Richard Boyce

Biography

 Mr. Richard W. Boyce, also known as Dick, serves as Senior Advisor at Altamont Capital Partners. Mr. Boyce served as the Chief Executive Officer of J. Crew Group, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. He provided operating oversight to the remainder of the Texas Pacific Group portfolio. From 1997 to January 2000, he served as the President of CAF, Inc. He was a Partner of TPG Capital, L.P. Mr. Boyce joined TPG Capital in 1997. He founded and Led TPG's Operating Group. Mr. Boyce served as Senior Vice President of North American Operations of Pepsico, Inc. from 1996 to 1997. At Pepsico, he served as Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 1996; General Manager of the Canadian Business Unit and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Strategic Planning for PepsiCo North American Operations from 1992 to 1994. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Favorite Brands International, Inc. (formerly, Favorite Brands International Holding Co. ) from July 1998 to October 1998. Mr. Boyce was a Partner at Bain & Company, Inc., where he was employed from 1980 to 1992 and worked in sales at Union Carbide prior to attending business school. He served as Chairman of Restaurant Brands International Inc. (formerly, Burger King Corporation) since 2002. Mr. Boyce served as Chairman of Favorite Brands International, Inc. from October 1998 to March 1999. Mr. Boyce served as Chairman of the Board of Big Heart Pet Brands (also known as Del Monte Foods). He has been a Director of Vigilant Solutions, Inc. since November 17, 2015. Mr. Boyce serves on the Boards of several other TPG portfolio companies. He has been a Director at Torrent Technologies, Inc. since May 5, 2008. He serves on the Board of Directors of Spirit Group Holdings, Ltd., and Network General Corporation, ZiLOG. He served as a Director of SunEdison, Inc (formerly, MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc.). Mr. Boyce served as a Director of Favorite Brands International, Inc. from 1996 to 1999 and Convergent Communications, Inc. since 2000. He served as a Director of J. Crew Group, Inc. from 1997 to May 05, 2007 and J Crew Operating Corp. He served as Director at Kraton Corporation (formerly Kraton Performance Polymers Inc.). Mr. Boyce served as a Director of Kraton Polymers LLC until June 01, 2006. Mr. Boyce served as a Director of Polymer Holdings LLC and Gate Gourmet Switzerland GmbH. He served as Board member at J. Crew Group, Inc. from 1997 to 2006. He served as a Director of LPL Financial Holdings Inc. from June 2, 2009 to May 10, 2016 and LPL Financial LLC since 2009. He received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and received a B.S.E. with honors from Princeton University.
