Biography
Appointed professor at UPMC since 2002, after working as a research engineer at ONERA for 7 years, his field of expertise is the mechanics of digital fluids, with applications in the fields of aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and aerothermal. He is particularly interested in the modeling of turbulent flows, numerical methods and methods of quantification and propagation of uncertainties. He is Deputy Director of the Jean Le Rond d'Alembert Institute (UMR 7190) since 2009 and was a member of the UPMC Board of Directors from 2008 to 2011. He was a member of the Section's Bureau for 4 years 10 of the CNRS.
