Biography
Vincent Haward was named the UMPC Haptics International Chairholder in 2008 and was a Professor at the UMPC in 2011. Prior to that, he was a professor at McGill University, Montreal, Canada (since 1989). He was also director of the McGill Research Center for Intelligent Machines from 2001 to 2004. Vincent Hayward is interested in tactile perception, haptic interfaces, and robotics. Vincent Hayward has been a Fellow of the IEEE since 2008 and has been the recipient of an ERC advanced grant from the European Research Council since 2010.
