Biography
Mr. Yates has managed projects in both California and Nevada since 1998. His work encompasses a wide range of private and public developments that include: master-planned communities, residential subdivisions, schools, churches, commercial properties, infrastructure projects, and state, municipal and light industrial facilities. Mr. Yates’ experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, CalTrans ISA studies, Phase II site investigations, and remedial actions. Mr. Yates also has extensive background in construction and industrial stormwater permitting and compliance work. Through his planning background, Mr. Yates also brings a diverse understanding of the project planning/approval as well as the CEQA/NEPA documentation and project approval processes. Mr. Yates projects experiences include large scale industrial complex evaluation and re-use projects, former Department of Defense sites proposed for re-use, and mitigation lands assessment. Mr. Yates has also completed work on complex infill and infrastructure rehabilitation projects. These projects were complicated since they were located adjacent to or within the boundaries of areas listed on the National Priorities List.
