Biography
Mr. Watari has worked on geotechnical and environmental projects throughout California since 1993. His extensive project experience includes studies for railroad and transportation corridors, tunnels, schools, high-rise office developments, and residential developments, as well as infrastructure improvements including bridges, thermal energy storage tanks, regional pipelines, and wastewater treatment plants. He has extensive experience using a variety of exploration techniques including cone penetrometer tests, mud-rotary, rock coring, resonant sonic coring, excavation test pits, and geophysical testing. Mr. Watari received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno, and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. He is a registered Geotechnical Engineer in the state of California and a registered Civil Engineer in the state of California and Nevada. He is a member of the California Geotechnical Engineers Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Structural Engineers Association of California.
