Biography
Dr. Vijayesh Gupta has joined us as President – India & ROW business (Asia (Except Malaysia), Africa, Middle East and North Africa) in August, 2017. Dr. Vijayesh has a graduate degree in Medicines and Surgery (MBBS) and a post-graduate degree in Clinical Pharmacology (MD – Pharmacology) from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi). Prior to Wockhardt, Dr. Vijayesh was associated with INTAS as President, heading India and Nepal business. In addition to INTAS, he worked with Zydus and Ranbaxy. Dr. Vijayesh brings with him significant leadership and business experience of over 25 years in various areas like medical affairs, sales, marketing, strategy, business development, brand building and leading overall business. With his leadership, we have a significant opportunity and plans to grow both in Indian market and ROW, and leverage the business synergies between these geographies.
