Biography
A native of Spain, Dr. del Mazo began his medical studies at the Facultad de Medicina in Madrid. After moving to the United States, he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in digestive diseases at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He also completed a National Institutes of Health research grant fellowship from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville where he investigated gastrointestinal hormones.
Research Interest
gastrointestinal hormones and treating patients with GI complications associated with severe medical conditions.
