Shay A. Fields

Biography

 Mr. Shay A. Fields serves as Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain Management at AxelaCare Health Solutions, LLC. Mr. Fields joined the AxelaCare executive team as part of the acquisition of Ambient Healthcare in January 2014. Mr. Fields served as Vice President of Business Development for Ambient Healthcare, Inc. and served as General Manager of Ambient Healthcare of Northwest Florida and Chief Operating Officer. During his 13 years with Ambient, he served in various corporate operational, managed care, procurement and business development positions. Prior to Ambient, he served for 4 years as the President/Chief Executive Officer of Fields & Associates. Mr. Fields has almost 30 years of operational and leadership experience in the home care alternate site setting. Prior to Fields & Associates, he served for 12 years as Managing Director of Baylor HomeCare, owned by the Baylor Health Care System of Dallas, TX. While at Baylor, he led a team from start-up to an integrated home care alternate site company with $50mm in annual revenue of services through multiple Medicare certified home health agencies, a home infusion therapy pharmacy company and a multi-site durable medical equipment company. He has a BS and MBA in Business from Louisiana Tech University.
