Biography
Mr. Michael McCarty has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Helena Chemical Company since April 1, 2016. Mr. McCarty serves as Chief Operating Officer of Agri-Input Business Division at Marubeni Corporation and has been its Managing Executive Officer since April 1, 2016. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Helena Business Division at Marubeni Corporation. He has been Chairman of Helena Industries Incorporated since February 2008. He serves as Vice Chairman of CropLife America Inc. Mr. McCarty is a strong supporter of the CropLife Ambassador Network program. He credited with hiring the first MidWest salesman in 1986. He won CropLife Association's Industry Vision Award. He graduated from Clemson University, Clemson, SC in 1977.
