Robert A. Schnapper, M.d.

Biography

 Dr. Schnapper was born in New York and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1975. Upon completion of his degree, he continued on to attend medical school and complete his neurological residency at Emory University as well. While completing his residency, he became interested in sleep medicine. Dr. Schnapper has practiced in metropolitan and suburban Atlanta since 1980. He is double Board Certified in neurology and sleep medicine, and he is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Georgia Neurological Society and the American Sleep Disorders Association.   Dr. Schnapper is a general adult neurologist specializing in sleep disorders. He has interest and expertise in a wide variety of neurological conditions including epilepsy, headache, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, neuropathy and other neuromuscular disorders. k. He then went on to attend medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. After medical school, he came south to complete his neurological residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Bikoff has practiced in metropolitan and suburban Atlanta since 1978. He is Board Certified in neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Georgia Neurological Society. He was also a member of the teaching faculty of Georgia Baptist Medical Center for many years and served on the medical advisory board of the Georgia Chapter of the Epilepsy Foundation of America.   Dr. Bikoff is a general adult neurologist with interest and expertise in a wide variety of neurological conditions including epilepsy, headache, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, neuropathy and other neuromuscular disorders.
