Her research interests includes Education and training of mathematics teachers;Development and testing of contemporary teaching materials;Applied and interdisciplinary mathematics Illustration; models and media in mathematics teaching;ETests and eLearnings on mathematics;Transition School College;Mathematicsdidactics as science;Research of mathematics-specific learning and knowledge processes;Conceptualization and linguistic mediation of mathematics;Mathematical history as an object and source of teaching ideals. she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Johanna Heitzer is the member of many international affiliations.
