Biography
Beate Plueckhan is President Region EMEA, since September 2016. She started her career with Hoechst in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1997, she joined Clariant, when Clariant acquired Hoechst’s textile chemicals business. There she gathered in-depth experience in marketing and sales roles, including as Head of Global Marketing, Apparel & Interior, from 2005 to 2010, as well as Head of Sales roles in regional or sub-regional areas in Europe. In 2013, Ms Plueckhan joined Archroma when the company acquired Clariant’s textile business. She was appointed as Head of Sales, Cluster Europe, Textile Specialties Business, in August 2015, and Head of Sales Textile Specialties and Emulsion Products for DACHEE in January 2016, a position she has held with success until being appointed to her current role. Ms. Plueckhan holds a Diploma in Textile Engineering from Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern, Germany.
