Biography
Inge Sillaber serves as Director of Behavioural Pharmacology of Affectis Ag. Dr. Sillaber has a comprehensive background in behavioural pharmacology with a multifaceted experience in neuroscience. Before joining Affectis, she headed the Behavioural Pharmacology Group at the Max-Planck Institute of Psychiatry. She focused on understanding the interaction of genes and environment leading to a final risk for developing psychiatric diseases like depression or abuse of psychoactive compounds. Subsequently, she was a guest scientist at the INSERM in Bordeaux. She has published in major scientific journals, including Science and Nature, and was awarded the Sir-Hans-Krebs Prize in 2003 for her work in the field of drug addiction. Dr. Sillaber is a biologist by training and obtained her Ph.D in the Department of Addiction Research at the Max-Planck Institute of Psychiatry.
