Biography
Wilcox will serve for the remainder of the 2014 – 2016 AMO Board term. As a member of the board, he will help set policy for the Association and serve as a key municipal leader in the province. AMO’s key advocacy priorities are focused on achieving fiscal sustainability for municipal governments, advancing federal, provincial partnerships for infrastructure and strengthening municipal legislative authority to advance local economic prosperity and environmental sustainability. Prior to joining the county in 2012, Wilcox held a senior position at Rogers Communications where he was influential in implementing dashboard-style key performance indicators and corporate performance standards, and has furthered this initiative at the county. In addition to his strategic and senior management experience, Wilcox holds various academic accreditations, including P.Eng., MBA, and CMA designations.
