Biography
With 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Ralf Lenhard brings broad-ranging experience to our Management Team. After 5 years of medical service for the Austrian Armed Forces he began his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative for Wyeth in 1996. In 2001 he took over leadership of the Hospital division as Sales Manager with a focus on Infectious Diseases and Hematology/ Oncology and during this time also coordinated the launch of a novel antibiotic with the European Brand Team. From 2005, as Product Manager Antiinfectives a & Vaccines, he was responsible for managing this product and also vaccines in general. In 2006 Ralf Lenhard came to AOP Orphan and took over leadership of the Austrian country organisation as Country Manager. Since October 2016 he has been working as Business Unit Director for Cardiology and Pulmonology.
