Biography
Dariush Behnam, born 1943, is head of the executive board and shareholder of AQUANOVA AG. He founded the company in 1995. After concluding his course of studies in mechanical engineering, he was responsible as departmental manager for mechanical design with a manufacturer of industrial electronics. Following that, he worked as the technical director and safety officer at the Institute for Atomic Physics at the Technical University in Darmstadt. Prior to periods – a number of years in each case – as managing director of the companies Dálman Industrial Projects GmbH in Düsseldorf and Technofair Industrial Projects GmbH in Darmstadt, he spent almost ten years at home and abroad working successfully with the companies Fried Krupp GmbH and Krupp Iran GmbH as technical director, sales manager and later member of the board.
