Miles Thompson

Biography

 Miles is an exploration geologist, with over 30 years’ experience working on natural resource projects in around the globe, including precious and base metals, industrial minerals, oil & gas and renewable energy. He is a founder of South American explorer Lara Exploration (LRA.V) and Europe-Africa explorer Reservoir Minerals (RMC.V). Miles was part of the discovery team that was winner of the Thayer Lindsley Award at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada for Reservoir Minerals’ Cukaru Peki Copper Gold Discovery in Serbia, that led to the sale of the company to Nevsun in June 2016 for over US$500 million.  Before entering the junior world in 2006, Miles was Manager of Business Development at Gold Fields Exploration, where his responsibilities included working on joint ventures and acquisitions in the Americas, Africa and Eurasia.
