Biography
Lothar Lanz, born in 1948, studied business administration from 1969 to 1974 in Stuttgart and Berlin (graduated with diploma). Initially, he worked as an assistant auditor at a tax and auditing firm in Berlin and changed to Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank AG in Munich in 1977, where he headed several branches between 1983 and 1990. In 1991, Mr. Lanz was appointed a member of the Executive Board of HSB HYPO Service-Bank AG in Munich and in 1996, he became a member of the Executive Board of the Nassauische Sparkasse in Wiesbaden. In the same year, he joined ProSieben Media AG, later ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, as Chief Financial Officer until 2008. From May 2009 to April 2014 Mr. Lanz was a member of the Executive Board of Axel Springer AG. Since May 2014, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Axel Springer SE. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of TAG Immobilien AG and Zalando SE, amongst others.
