Biography
Michael Diekmann was born in Bielefeld, Germany in 1954 and studied law and philosophy at the University of Göttingen, Germany. From 1998, Michael Diekmann was a member of the Board of Management of Allianz SE. From 2003 until May 2015, he was Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz SE. Since May 2017, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE. Diekmann has been a member of the BASF Supervisory Board since May 6, 2003.
