Biography
Mr. Manfred Vehreschild has been the Chief Financial Officer at Bayer HealthCare AG since January 1, 2010 and serves as its Head of Central Administration & Organization. Mr. Vehreschild is in charge for Central Administration & Organization. He serves as Chief Financial Officer and Member of Management Board at Bayer Pharma AG. His first position was in Bayer's Internal Auditing Department, which he joined in 1981. He spent almost five years as Head of the Finance Department at Bayer Diagnostics GmbH in Munich. From March 1997, he held a series of senior positions in the Finance & Accounting function of the Bayer Group. He was Head of Business Administration from 1997 to 2001 and Head of Business Administration, Development and Systems in the Enterprise Accounting function. From 2003 to of 2009 he was responsible for accounting across all the Bayer companies in his function as Head of Group Accounting and Controlling/Biltrolling. He serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bayer Vital GmbH. Mr. Vehreschild serves as a Member of Supervisory Board at Bayer Business Services GmbH.
