Biography
Marc Reichardt is Member of the Executive Committee of Crop Science and since January 2014 Head of Commercial Operations. Marc Reichardt was born in Barcelona, Spain, on June 8, 1962. He studied technical agricultural engineering in Barcelona, Spain, where he was awarded his Master’s degree in 1985. He joined Bayer in the same year, starting his career as a sales representative at Bayer Hispania S.A., Barcelona, before being appointed Regional Manager for Spain. In 1992 he moved to Warsaw as Country Manager of Bayer Poland. In 1996, he transferred to Bayer AG, Monheim, Germany, as Product Manager for rice herbicides. In 1999 he was nominated as Head of Bayer CropScience ConoSur based in Argentina. In April 2003 he was nominated as Head of Brazil and Mercosur Region at the Crop Protection Business Group. Marc Reichardt was appointed to the Executive Committee of Bayer CropScience as Head of the Business Operations unit Crop Protection Latin America effective April 1, 2006. Marc Reichardt is married and has three daughters.
