Biography
He born in Linz, Austria on September 28, 1956. From 1976 – 198, he achieved First degree and doctorate from University of St. Gallen for Business Administration, Economics, Law and Social Sciences; Harvard Business School: ISP, he works at Bain & Co., Boston, as Manager, strategy consulting in 1984 – 1988, as Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs & Co., New York, as Executive Director, Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs International, London, as Chairman and partner, Goldman Sachs Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. OHG, Frankfurt from 1994 – 1999, since 1998, he is the Honorary Professor at WHU Koblenz, during 2000 – 2012, he was the Member of the Board of Management of Allianz AG (since October 2006 Allianz SE) and since 2012, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG.
