Biography
She born in Düsseldorf, Germany on January 10, 1969. She did study of biology at the University of Bonn, Germany, got her Ph.D. in microbiology in 1998. From 1998 – 2000, worked as Independent consultant; project management for the Association of Applied Microbiology; coordination of industrial projects for the Pharmaceutical Microbiology department of the University of Bonn, became Member of the Supervisory Board of Cognis B.V. in 1999 – 2001, Since 2000, she became Founding Partner and Director of Antiinfectives Intelligence Gesellschaft für klinisch-mikrobiologische Forschung und Kommunikation mbH. She was the Member of the Supervisory Board of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA from 2001 – 2005, Member of the Shareholders’ Committee of Henkel KGaA from 2005 – 2008, Member of the Supervisory Board and Vice Chairman of the Shareholders’ Committee of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA; Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Henkel Management AG from 2008 – 2009 and Since 2009, she is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA and Henkel Management AG and Shareholders‘ Committee of Henkel KGaA & Co. KGaA.
