Biography
he was born in 1956, two children. After obtaining a degree in systems engineering (electrical engineering) at the University of Kaiserslautern, Gerhard Marz joined Siemens as a sales engineer for microprocessors and semiconductors. Almost ten years later, in 1992, he left Siemens to head up the pharmaceutical and medical systems business of one of his previous customers. Mr Marz joined Bechtle’s IT system house Mannheim in 1996, serving as the managing director until 2003. In 2004 he assumed the role of Executive Vice President responsible for Bechtle AG’s business in the public sector.
