Biography
1974: Joined the Berlin police. 1976-1982: Officer in an operations unit, group leader in the training department. 1982-1986: Advanced secondary certificate and study at the former FHSVR Berlin (now Berlin School of Economics and Law – BSEL). 1986-1990: Teacher of civil service law, police operations theory and political education at the police training school (for middle-ranking officer grades). 1990-1993: Team leader at the LKA 632 (an office of criminal investigation for a particular federal state). 1993-1995: Studied for senior ranks of police service. 1995-1998: Head of Division 5, Head of Districts A 55 and A 11.From 1998: Lecturer (fixed-term contract) of Police Operations Theory at the FHVR Berlin, Faculty 3. Since July 2003: Professor of Police Operations Theory at the FHVR Berlin / BSEL
