Studied Information Technology at the Technical University Berlin – graduated with Diploma in Engineering (IT), Doctorate (Dr. Ing.) at the Technical University Berlin, 1992-1993: Siemens AG, system software developer, 1993-1999: Researcher and project leader at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering, 2000-2001: Debis Systemhaus GEI mbH (company specialising in electronic information processing) – later Telekom T-Systems and has few publications
