Biography
"Ph.D. in Economics from UC Irvine, California and B.A. from Oberlin College, Ohio Currently Professor of International Trade and Production at the Berlin School of Economics and Law Previously taught at American University of Paris, Ecole des Dirigeants et Créateurs d’Entreprises (EDC), Paris, University of Bonn, University of California, Irvine and Shanxi Agricultural University, Taigu, ShanXi, People’s Republic of China. From 2001-2005 was a Senior Fellow at the Centre for European Integration Studies (ZEI), Bonn, Germany, and has also been a research associate with LEN Research Centre, University of Nantes and OCRE – EDC, Paris. Previous working experience includes positions as an economist with the National Income and Wealth Division, Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce, as a team member at Sabre Decision Technologies, Paris SNCF site, research assistantships with the LARTA Institute in Los Angeles, the Klemm Analysis Group, Inc., Washington, D.C., and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Chicago, IL Organized a conference on Social Conflict and Economic Performance held by Stergios Skaperdas at the UC, Irvine in 1999 and has more than 20 Publications"
