Biography
Dr. Bernges has gained experience in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology and Drug Discovery. As a member of the University Medical Center Hamburg she was investigating biomarkers involved cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. Her main emphasis was the performance of a high throughput screening and subsequent confirmation and validation. Isabel is currently responsible at IPM Biotech for the development and validation of immunogenicity assays under GLP regulations including ECL, ELISA and BIACORE technology for the support of preclinical and clinical release studies. She received her license as a Pharmacist from the University of Frankfurt (Main) and her Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Hamburg. She was a research fellow at Methodist Research Institute of the Texas Medical Center in Houston and completed her research studies in Molecular Biology at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology in Hamburg.
