Mr. Jacques Gardette

Biography

Jacques Gardette has been committed to the health industry for more than 30 years with the creation of several companies dedicated to the development, manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. In 1990, Jacques started Cardial, specialized in the development of artificial arterial vascular prosthesis. He then sold the company to the north-American group Bard in 1995 before creating another company: Biodome, developing devices to enable a better management of injectable drugs. Biodome went public in 1998 and was sold to Baxter International in 2000. In 2005 BIOCORP was born, led by Jacques Gardette and the R&D team who had previously made Biodome’s success. Jacques aimed at developing new solutions to improve drug delivery for patients suffering from chronic conditions. In 2012, he decided to bring in new competencies, integrate connectivity to BIOCORP’s devices and develop new innovative solutions to increase treatment
