Biography
Hans Hengartner is Professor Emeritus at the Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich and University of Zurich. He is a world renowned expert in the field of immunology and former Dean of the Department of Biology of the ETH Zurich. He is recipient of the Ernst-Jung-Prize for Medicine and the Otto-Naegeli-Prize for his outstanding contributions to biomedical and clinical research.
