Biography
Tim studied at the University of Bonn and at the Philipp University of Marburg. During his studies, his research interests included authoritarian regimes in the Middle East and rural development in the southern Caucasus. From 2012 to 2015, he worked for the Center for Development Research (ZEF) on agricultural knowledge systems and rural development and supporting the capacity- building initiative of the Right Livelihood Award.As a PhD-candidate at BICC he focuses on the issues of group formation and the (dis-)continuity of conflicts among refugees in Germany.
