Biography
Robert James Meyer, M.D. serves as Independent Director of Cardiome Pharma Corp. Dr. Meyer is currently a Director at the Virginia Center for Translational and Regulatory Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, but has held senior roles at Merck Research Laboratories from 2007 to 2013, most recently as Vice President, Global Regulatory Strategy, Policy and Safety, as well as at the FDA from 1999 to 2007 where Dr. Meyer served as Director of the Division of Pulmonary and Allergy Drug Products and then Director of the Office of Drug Evaluation II in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research
