Biography
Ralf Kraehmer PhD, co-founder of celares GmbH, has studied chemistry in Leipzig, Germany. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Natural Products and Glycotechnology Research Institute (USA) he became senior scientist in the field of process chemistry, especially of contract GMP manufacturing of drug candidates for clinical testing at CarboGen (Switzerland). Subsequently he was head of synthetic chemistry at Medical Enzymes AG, where he was responsible for the development of polymer-based delivery systems for the modification of biotechnological drugs.
